I Have Really Unconventional Ways to Make 15 Bucks

Or a really good way to procrastinate studying for my last final and revising my Rhet 105 argument essay.  This afternoon the RAs put on an event to give residents a study break. The event jousting. The prize $100 Visa gift card to the winner of each the men's and women's brackets. Unfortunately, the guys took quite a while and we only got part way through the women's side and had to stop because of rain, so they split the money based on how many wins you had.

Congrats Wiiman

On making your First Communion today. You did great bringing up the gifts.
Don't he and G.G. look nice?

Side note: I appreciate Mrs. S took some candids of us trying to get organized for a picture.

I Didn't Even Have to Leave Campus

On my way to work today I saw a camel.
Usually someone would have to go to a zoo or travel half way around the world to see a camel, let alone ride it, but today if you were in Chambana you could have rode a camel without leaving the cornfields.

What I Learned Today

Elizabeth Taylor needs to get out more. She asked for chopsticks at the Mexican restaurant...

That Awkward Moment

When I payed too much attention to my e-mail while I was walking upstairs and walked on the wrong floor and tried to unlock someone else's door.  Even more awkward, it was a guys' floor.  I'm really glad whoever's room it was wasn't home.

What I Learned Today

Siri doesn't always do what you ask her to do. When asking for directions yesterday, I got told "I'm sorry about this, but I can't take any requests right now.  Please try again later."

I think I just got sassed by my phone...

Quote of the Day

As Engineer and I were walking out of our meteorology lecture today, I was coughing on a granola bar I had just eaten.  Her response, "don't die now it's warm out, if you're going to die do that when it's cold."

I appreciate her logic.
